Comedian Taylor Tomlinson will have two more standup comedy specials for Netflix. This will make a total of four specials with the streaming service. Her first one was titled โ€œQuarter-Life Crisis” back in 2020 and her second was โ€œLook at Youโ€ in 2022. Taylor Tomlinson says that she feels very “grateful and luckyโ€ for the two additional Netflix standup comedy specials. Her third special will be shot at the end of her current tour, called โ€œHave It All Tourโ€. It will explore being at a crossroads in life and the uneven progressions that come with it. The comedian often explores personal stories and quirks about herself rather than exploring pop culture and politics. Her career took off after her first Netflix special. Critics praised Tomlinson for her take on her mother’s death and her own mental health. Her upcoming specials will be a change of pace.

Netflix Launched Taylor Tomlinson’s Career

Taylor Tomlinson said she was able to actually sell tickets after her Netflix special.

The comedian has even been working on a film based on her childhood with Village Roadshow Pictures. Taylor Tomlinson is writing the script with Taylor Tetreau and Paul Weitz is directing it. She has considered creating a series with Netflix but the star loves standup too much to give it up. Along with her Netflix standup comedy specials, she’s been able to work on other projects like the film that she deeply enjoys. Prior to her Netflix standup comedy specials, Tomlinson said she wasn’t selling tickets. Now the comedian has multiple specials under her belt and other projects in the works. She’s currently touring and has a much larger fanbase because of the exposure from her Netflix specials. Tomlinson madeย Variety‘s list of 10 Comics to Watch as well. She says she’s happy with where she is in standup, and for now, that’s how she wants things to remain.

Both of Tomlinson’s Netflix comedy standup specials are available on the streaming service.
