A woman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, recorded herself, still tearful, asking the internet for help paying for her father’s funeral. She detailed how her father sadly and suddenly passed away, and the internet was deeply moved by her story.

Elizabeth Kammin, who goes by lizissolost on TikTok, shared her story online. Her account features a variety of content, including shopping and makeup, but it all changed when she previously announced that her father had passed away. The clip in question is a follow-up of sorts, and it garnered 513,600 views, 151,100 likes, and 23,000 comments.

The Oklahoma woman detailed how her father, Charles Kammin, passed away. According to her, he suffered from a heart attack, which was followed by a stroke. In a GoFundMe, Elizabeth detailed that a piece of her father’s heart blood clot had traveled to his brain.

“My dad is my whole world,” the daughter said in the fundraiser, before her father passed away. “He’s always been there for me, and now I want to be there for him.”

In the clip, apparently recorded before Charles’ passing on April 21, Elizabeth asked users online to interact with the clip, so TikTok pushes it harder, and many more are directed to her fundraiser.

“I really don’t know what to say here. He’s leaving behind me and my two kids,” the Oklahoma woman said before the video ended.

Viewers Get Emotional

The video sparked many responses online. While many were encouraging interactions, some were moved by Elizabeth’s efforts to give her father a proper send-off. One viewer, who donated $1,000, said, “Just know your dad is smiling down on you now.” Another one added, “He is proud of you… You are a gift as a daughter.”

Other viewers shared their condolences, and some even revealed they were grieving too. One viewer said, “My dad died from a heart attack, too. I’m sorry.” Another one, twice Elizabeth’s age, detailed that their father had passed away last month. They added, “I hope you get what you need and that your sweet father’s memory is always a blessing to you.”

Elizabeth has not provided an update since her last clip. It appears that she will reach her fundraising goal sooner rather than later.
