The last thing you want to do in Roblox Blue Lock Rivals is be a detriment to your team. And it’s really easy to pick out who’s new to the game and who isn’t. We see you running down the field with the ball, not bothering to dribble, not bothering to zig or zag, or getting the ball plucked from your feet. It’s understandable if you’re new, but I’m going to teach you a few pro techs that will dramatically improve your performance in Roblox Blue Lock Rivals.
Practice Your Headers

Knowing how to perform a header may well be the most important tech in Roblox Blue Lock Rivals. It offers so much utility, you’d be playing, more or less, with one arm and one leg behind your back.
Here’s how it works:
- Aim towards the ground.
- Charge up your kick (as little or as much as you’d like) and let it rip.
- As the ball launches straight up, jump just before the ball reaches you and the ball will pop back into the air.
That’s a header, and although it seems basic at first, it opens up numerous options. Want to keep the ball away from a player? Do a header. Want to regain some stamina while you have the ball? Do a header. Want to stop someone from stealing? Do a header!
Never Stop Dribbling the Ball

Here’s a tip: if you’re running with the ball and you’re not dribbling, you’re really opening up yourself for someone to take it.
- Self Pass Dribble: Lightly kick the ball about 10 feet ahead. That’s it! It’ll keep your stamina from draining too fast and keep your speed steady.
- Fake Out Dribble: When someone gets close, do a Self Pass Dribble. Just before they get to it, grab the ball, then dribble and feint in the opposite direction they’re going.
- Wall Dribble: If you attracted too much heat and need to ditch the ball, a Wall Dribble can be a life saver. When you’re near the edge of the field, kick the ball up and towards the wall. It’ll bounce off and stay aloft for a few moments.
When you have the ball, it slows you down, giving other players enough time to catch up. By dribbling, you’ll free your movement speed up and get the ball down the field sooner.
Try These Shooting Techs to Score

Lastly, there are a handful of basic, yet highly effective shooting techs you should be adding to your rotation:
- Header Shot: It’s a little tricky, but after you perform a header, shoot the ball. It can be a nice way of getting over the goalkeeper.
- Feint Shot: Kick very lightly towards the ground, then do a normal kick. The first “kick” is meant to sike the goalkeeper. Warning: Players may feel salty if you get them with it.
- Rebound Shot: Kick the ball up and over the net. When it bounces back, then kick the ball. This is meant to get the goalkeeper to jump (and miss), leaving them wide open.
Now go practice! These techs are widely used by pros in Roblox Blue Lock Rivals, but it still takes practice to master.
