A couple of days ago, the team behind Temtem revealed that the game had reached over 500,000 units sold. This was some huge news from the team, but thankfully the developer isn’t done yet. Today, developer Crema has revealed what is coming for the future of Temtem in an official roadmap. Players now have an idea of what is happening throughout the next few seasons, and there’s quite a bit. The roadmap was revealed on the developer’s official website, which you can find here.
In short, there are three content updates planned for Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2020, respectively. Spring will bring along several vital features, such as ranked matchmaking v1. This includes a rating system using ELO, which has tamers at different skill rankings, which give different rewards at the end of a season. Along with ranked matchmaking, the game is getting a spectator mode, in-game chat, chat bubbles, and club management. Summer will see more of a content update than key features, though a few are included. There will be a new island with 25 new Temtem, player housing, climbing gear, and emotes v2.
And finally, there’s the Fall update. This will bring another new island with 25 more Temtem, the first mythical Temtem, tournaments, a quest diary, and finally achievements. Overall, all three updates are looking great, but that’s not all. Tomorrow, Crema will be revealing a roadmap that goes even further down the line and tells even more. This will include a Trading House, the Dojo Wars, end-game content, after-launch support, and more! This isn’t confirmed, but you can likely expect a timeframe for release on other platforms somewhere in there.
There’s a lot of content coming to the game, so those that have purchased it are likely excited. If you’re interested in Temtem though or want more details, you can see the game’s Steam page.
