It’s true that being a parent is difficult and that not everyone should be able to have children. Some bad fathers and mothers are negligent or abusive towards their children. However, this Texas mother is not horrible, quite the opposite, yet her husband berates her and tries to make her feel bad for not putting their children first. However, the husband’s speech sounds more like a tactic to control and manipulate his wife, rather than allowing her to be her individual.
TikTok user theoneamarie uploaded a video in which her husband appears to be complaining to her. In the video, the man is raging about how he is the one who should be providing for their family and paying the bills, while she should be at home taking care of the children. But the wife responds that he wants her to take care of the children and stay at home doing nothing else, while he does not pay her bills. It is at this point that the man from Texas explodes and berates his wife, telling her that she is a horrible mother. She defends herself by saying that he thinks she is a bad mother for pursuing her dreams and career.
The husband continues the argument by saying that she should take care of their six children and that she should have thought before having children. He even blames her for getting pregnant, but she responds that he promised they would be together to have the babies. Then, she angrily defends herself because her husband makes it seem like the children are not his, and tells him that he is a bad father. In the video, the wife also complains that he never helps her with anything related to the children and that he is a bad father for telling their children that she is a bad mother.
Due to the father’s questionable behavior, many began to think that he just wanted to baby trap her. The user Tracey the Greyt thought the same thing and wrote: ‘He really thought he had u trapped’. Others assured OP that she is not a bad mother for wanting to have a career that can improve her children’s future. Another recurring comment was that he just wanted to control her, but she has never been under his control, and that is what upsets him so much. So, let’s hope she and her kids can escape from him.
