He shared three pictures online documenting his experience. After ordering a Pumpkin Spice Latte, he allegedly found pieces of glass inside the drink. The pictures showed both large and smaller pieces of glass, while another image included his order to indicate that the beverage had been purchased from Starbucks.
“Found glass in my PSL! Which [expletive] sucks because I like those drinks,” the man wrote. He added that he was unsure whether he had consumed any of the glass. The experience was shocking to him as he said that it left him “freaked out.” He also noted that the store did not have a direct phone number.
When asked about the address of the Starbucks branch involved, the man said, “154 S Loop 288 near McKinney.” One commenter also provided him with an email address to contact the store, prompting him to reply, “I’ve emailed a supervisor for the store given to me by the manager but if I don’t hear back I’ll use this one. Thank you.” The only report he said he had managed to make so far was through a store robot, adding, “Yeah I reported it to the robots reading off of a litigious script.” It remains unclear what happened afterward or whether the store ultimately responded to him.
