After Phantylia’s turbulent attack, Tingyun had a horrific and tragic end. Or so we all thought, but this Foxian still has much more to give. So Tingyun took a new opportunity in Honkai Star Rail by receiving the name Fugue, a different appearance, and a new build and teams. This citizen of The Xianzhou Luofu returned to the battlefield to show the true potential of her Skills; now, the Heliobus will run away from her in terror.

Fugue went off the Harmony path to follow a different Path from Honkai Star Rail with Nihility. This way, her build no longer has buffs but debuffs. Therefore, you would require some of these Light Cones for her:

Long Road Leads Home
(5-Star)
This is Fugue’s Signature Light Cone, and the improved DMG Break Effect makes it her best choice for her build on Honkai Star Rail. Also, after inflicting a Weakness Break, Fugue can apply a vulnerability effect that stacks.
Fermata
(5-star)
This LC stands out for improving the Break Effect and DMG to enemies affected by Lightning or Wind. Also, this Light Cone is very useful for DoT teams. You can also buy Fermata at the Forgotten Hall Store.
Solitary Healing
(4-Star)
This LC is handy for DoT teams because when using Fugue’s Ultimate, her DoT DMG improves for two turns, but if you defeat an enemy in that state, she will get Energy. Plus, you also get a Break Effect boost just for equipping it.
This is also an excellent option for F2P because you can buy the LC at Herta’s Store.

Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is the best option for Break Effect if you get at least 150%-250% of this stat for Fugue because she will ignore the enemy’s DEF with this set. If you find it hard to get enough of any special stat, you can combine some pieces:

  • Priests’ Relived Ordeal for CRIT DMG.
  • Thief of Shooting Meteor / Watchmaker, Master of Dream Machinations for Break Effect.
  • Messenger Traversing Hackerspace for Speed.
Body PieceEffect Hit Rate% – 66% is a reasonable amount to ensure a quick debuff application to enemies.
Feet PieceSpeed – For Fugue 160 SPD is more than enough.
Planar SphereHP, DEF, or ATK – Use the stat that best suits your build and teams.
Link RopeBreak Effect –  Remember that this is one of the most essential stats for the Fugue kit, so if you need a little extra, the Rope will help you.

For your Planar Ornaments, Fugue will take more significant advantage of Talia: Kingdom of Banditry due to the Break Effect and Speed upgrades. Also, Sprightly Vonwacq is an excellent choice for getting more Speed and Energy Regeneration. Just in case you want to team up with Firefly, Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is a better alternative.

Team Composition

Although Fugue can go with several Break teams in Honkai Star Rail, she has better synergy with Rappa, who takes better advantage of the Foxian’s skills. However, these other teams are beneficial for her:
