The first step to meat farming is getting the right gear. Animals are skittish, so you’ll want to secure the complete Stealth Outfit. You can purchase this outfit at Kakariko Village. Though it’s initially at a steep price, you can complete a sidequest called A Gloom-Borne Illness, and the Armor Shop Vendor will lower the price. For 1200 rupees, you can get yourself an outfit that won’t startle your prey.

Animals won’t drop the same amount of Raw Meat in Tears of the Kingdom if you hit them with a melee weapon while they’re startled. So chances are you’ve grabbed at least one bow from the wild. And as for arrows, most towns have around 25x arrows in their general stores.

Before you make your way there, check your calendar to avoid any blood moons. The Gloomy Hands usually loom over forests these nights, making you their prey instead. It’s better to head out hunting for Raw Meat Tears of the Kingdom on a sunny morning to spot your prey easily.
Deers usually hang around the outskirts of the forests, whereas boars tend to be sparsed in the forest’s deepest areas. If you kill a wild boar with an arrow, it will drop two pieces of Raw Meat.
