Victoria Alonso Leaves Marvel Studios After 17 years
Unexpected events have happened which is now leaving a major shift. The Hollywood Reporter first shared that Victoria Alonso left the company on Friday, March 17th, 2023. Victoria Alonso has exit come after 17 years with Marvel Studios and has no doubt grown from this experience with Disney, and one of the highest-grossing movie franchises in history thus far. It is sad to think of leaving a company that huge and involved.
Critics are believing that Phase 5 of the MCU is off to a bad start after the recent release of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The movie has received mixed reviews with that being said, there is also an impending delay on Disney shows that are under the MCU banner, but serval of those shows are expected to be pushed to next year.
Alonso joined Marvel back in 2006 helping Kevin Feige launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a co-producer on 2008’s Iron Man movie, which was really what started the whole franchise off in the movie world. Soon after she served also as a co-producer on several Phase 1 films too, like Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger.
