The closed beta for Ubisoft newest game The Division is currently underway and performing strong all platforms. However, those that weren’t able to get in are probably not going to get a taste of the game before its release in March. The beta is almost at max capacity for the number of players.
“Due to the unprecedented demand for access to The Division Closed Beta, we can no longer guarantee access,” reads the Ubisoft blog. “If you have already pre-ordered The Division and have yet to receive your key, we’re working closely with our partners to ensure that you receive it tomorrow when we send out the next batch of keys. For those of you that have not pre-ordered but are on the waiting list for The Division Beta, please know that we want to get as many people in the Beta as possible. However, space will be severely limited for the rest of the beta testing phase due to high-demand.”
Ubisoft has got be smiling at this news since it seems like players want a taste of the game. However, will the final game see the same high demand as the closed beta? In this writer’s opinion, if the final game is as stable and fun as the closed beta, then Ubisoft will be seeing strong sales numbers.
