My fellow nerds, the start of spook season is upon us. Only two days into October, a lot of unusual things have already happened. Today, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time launched and Rick Moranis was sucker-punched randomly. In addition to these two events, Netflix has announced the release date for Cobra Kai season 3 and the plan for a 4th season. Later this month, Watch Dogs: Legion is set to release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Early in November, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release on modern and next-gen consoles. In preparation for these releases, Ubisoft is part of the first October Deals with Gold sale.
Unlike the previous Ubisoft sale which offered variously Assassin’s Creedtitles and Rainbow Six Siege, the first October Deals with Gold offer falls rather short. From September 29th to October 5th, 2020, Xbox Live Gold members can get deals on Watch Dogs, and The Division 2. While it’s not a Ubisoft title, I recommend Borderlands 3 due to its enjoyable co-op gameplay. Below is the complete list of the first October Deals with Gold offers.
