Fans of the Jonas Brothers appear to be freaking out about the possibility that the band is going to split again. It first started when Nick Jonas opted to shave off his curls. A simple move, right? Well, fans thought otherwise as they noticed his change in appearance may also coincide with a big announcement, like the band deciding to part ways. No big announcement like this has come yet, but the band’s latest Instagram post about a new concert hasn’t exactly got the reaction they were hoping for.
The band posted a photo on their Instagram account encouraging fans to get tickets to their RockinRioLisboa show. “Let’s party together to celebrate 20 years of #RockinRioLisboa! On June 22, we’re going to color the City of Rock with the energy of music,” the caption reads. Gather your friends, bring your family! Let’s make it happen.” But instead of generating a buzz around the concert, fans were mad because they had canceled earlier shows.
The Leave Before You Love Me singers canceled their European concert dates earlier this year as part of their Five Albums, One Night world tour. They made the announcement on TikTok, telling fans, “We are so excited to play these shows later this year, in the fall.” The caption on the post reads, “Europe!! We’re shifting our upcoming shows to later this year. We appreciate your love and support so much. We know this is a bit inconvenient, but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date, and info is at Jonasbrothers.com.”
So, could this new announcement be why they canceled their European shows? Fans think so.
“This is stupid… You changed the dates in Europe but have time to do this instead?? I feel I will ask for my money back and invest it in something better,” an angry fan wrote. Another commenter agreed, writing, “I literally don’t understand your strategy. Cancel an entire leg of a tour you had planned for months for an exciting opportunity for who … nick? what about the thousands of fans ??? Ok cool!”
Other comments on the post include, “So was this the exciting project that made you cancel the rest of Europe?,” and “Ohhh thats why my concert tomorrow was cancelled.”
Yep, fans are really mad!
