PC players, it’s time to mark your calendars once again for the 8th annual PC Gaming Show! The PC show event is set to start on June 12th at 12:30 PM PT / 3:30 PM ET on Twitch and YouTube. Enthusiastic PC developers, publishers, and fans can anticipate seeing over 45 titles during the event. These will include new and current titles from studios all over the world.
The PC Crowd is Back in Action with the PC Gaming Show
While the PC Gaming Show is still less than a month away, there are several announcements. Not much is being disclosed, but we can expect to see new games from 11-bit studios and Klei Entertainment; an Arma 4 interview with Bohemia Interactive; the final trailer for Immortality; fresh footage of the Half-Life: Alyx – Levitation mod project; news on the current state of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 from Saber Interactive; the first gameplay taste of Victoria 3, an upcoming grand strategy game.
Even the PC Gaming Show employees have expressed their excitement for the event, with Evan Lahti commenting:
We want the PC Gaming Show to convey just how permanently vibrant this hobby is. PC gaming contains multitudes – it’s a big tent of creativity. This year’s show puts high-end projects like Arma 4 side-by-side with boutique gems from Klei, tinyBuild, and Maximum Games, stunning indie sci-fi, and an ambitious modding project that builds on the acclaimed Half-Life: Alyx.” – Evan Lahti, PC Gamer Global Editor-in-Chief
The PC Gaming Show will follow after the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, which is occurring on the same day. Sean ‘Day[9]’ Plott and Mica Burton will host. Additionally, the Future Games Show will be live the day before on June 11th.
With many well-known names supporting the event (including SEGA Europe, Mana Interactive, Square Enix, All in! Games, Kepler Interactive, and many more), we’re bound to see some wonderful surprises when the event goes live next month. Which announcement are you looking forward to seeing on display? Let us know down in the comments!
