We had the introduction of the XRK Stalker in Warzone Season 1, but it couldn’t compete with the power of MCPR and Katt-AMR at that time. However, Warzone Season 2 has been very generous to the Stalker, giving the poor SR a much-needed buff to become the new meta. Now, with the power in hand, the XRK Stalker has enough stat flexibility to build various types of loadouts to have the best meta sniper rifle in Warzone Season 2.
Best Warzone Season 2 Meta Sniper Loadout
- Muzzle: XRK Nightfall Suppressor XL
- Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive
- Bolt: XRK Stalker Light Bolt
- Magazine: 7-Round Mag
- Optic: SZ Heatsource 800
Perks:
- Sleight of Hand
- Focus
- Cold-Blooded
- Flex
The XRK Stalker’s bullet velocity is good for MW3 Multiplayer, but if you’re trying to hit ranged shots, you would need the XRK Nightfall Suppressor XL. This is a solid attachment for the recoil management and adding extra bullet velocity. Next, if you want one-shot sniper hits in Warzone, you need the .50 Cal Explosive ammunition attachment on every sniper rifle, and the XRK Stalker isn’t an exception.
Now, unlike the fan-favorite MCPR, the Stalker doesn’t come with a 10-round magazine by default. There are two options; you could slap a 7-round mag under the XRK Stalker and have a little mobility penalty, or you can have a 10-round mag and turn this sniper rifle into a truck. Once you’ve decided, it’s time to pick the XRK Stalker Light Bolt for a much faster bolt-action speed, turning this sniper rifle into an absolute Warzone Season 2 meta.
But we’ve got one more attachment slot, right? If you’re ok with the super zoomed default optic of the XRK Stalker, then it’s best if you pick an attachment that adds to the mobility. The KLX-09 Short barrel could be the best option for faster ADS speed without losing damage and range stats.
But, if you’re on the same page as I am and are not happy with the XRK’s main optic, then just change it. The SZ Heatsource 800 is very much recommended due to its thermal vision. More players tend to use smoke grenades as the runaway plan in Warzone, but they can not escape the Heatsource optic.
As for a supporting weapon, the WSP-9 is truly the best option for your XRK Stalker Warzone Season 2 loadout. The slow-shooting WSP SMG is super-buffed in Season 2, hitting mid-range targets at ease. You should also remember to have the Focus perk for every Warzone sniper loadout you build for better accuracy.
Call of Duty: Warzone is currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
