This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information.

A short while ago, Pop Culture Shock lifted the sheet on its newest Street Fighter statue offering – a marvelous 30-inch (that’s two-and-a-half feet!) figure of Chun Li. But that wasn’t all. With a wave of their hand and some magic words (disclaimer – that’s not really how it happened), boom! Two more Chun Li statues. Collectors had a choice to make. Do they go for the classic outfit, the Alpha uniform from Zero, or the latest look, the battle dress from Street Fighter V. With quantities limited to around 350 each and a downright deadly price tag of $900 (again, each), it was time to start thinking carefully.

That was then. This is now.

Pop Culture Shock recently shared some options interested buyers have. Those who pay in full up front will enjoy a total cost reduction to $765 – $786 (for some reason, each of the three is slightly different). There’s even more good news if you’re a huge Chun Li fanatic because all three variations are up for grabs as the Legacy Set. The price is about what you’d expect if you multiplied the cost of one statue by three, equaling out at around $2,700 with a payment plan and $2,400 if paid up front. But seriously, who the heck has two-and-a-half thousand dollars just lying around?

Plus, that estimate doesn’t include shipping. Expect to pay quite a bit more for it, these suckers are big… er, I’m talking about the statues, not Chun Li’s… never mind. Moving on, orders will open up on May 22 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time, while the figures themselves will ship out late 2018. That’s more than a year’s wait, but such is the nature of the beast.

And now for the obvious question: do you still play Street Fighter, and if so, who? Leave a comment before taking a look at The Nerd Stash‘s further gaming and entertainment offerings.
