Just a few weeks before its release, the upcoming Tin Hearts game announced that it has become a timed-exclusive game on the Nintendo Switch. So far we don’t know if this was the original plan for the developers, but it is sad to see that a game is getting delayed for its other versions. The game was originally planned to launch on April 20 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC as well but that isn’t happening anymore. While the game’s launch on these platforms is still set for the following month, it is strange to see this last-minute change.
Tin Hearts is now a timed exclusive on the Nintendo Switch with a release date of April 20
The Nintendo Switch version of Tin Hearts is still on track, and it’ll launch on April 20. However, those who have a PlayStation, Xbox, or PC will have to wait until May 19. This is a strange choice and something that nobody expected just a few weeks before the official game’s launch. While it might not be one of the most anticipated games out there, it is still sad to see a delay, especially for those eager to play the title.

New ‘Tears of the Kingdom’ Gameplay Revealed
While Tin Hearts is going to be a timed-exclusive for Nintendo Switch for a while, others will get the chance to play it shortly after. If you were planning to play the game, you might want to adjust the calendar. We don’t know if the fact that the game is launching on Nintendo Switch first is to avoid it overlapping with the launch of Tears of the Kingdom. Games like Fire Emblem Engage put out their DLC as fast as possible to avoid being overshadowed so this might be the reason here. Just speculating though. Whatever the case might be, you’ll still get the chance to play Tin Hearts on the Nintendo Switch in the coming weeks.
