His recent obsession is two-fold, though. Insiders reveal that while Tom is forever searching for the fountain of youth, his latest venture is also in preparation for his next film role. A few weeks ago, Tom posted a photo on Instagram showing fans his underwater training session.
Cruise captioned the photo, “The training and preparation we put into this film is a culmination of all before it. From the depths to the skies, I can’t wait to share more with you,” Tom boasted on Instagram, alongside a photo of himself submerged in water.
Pals Concerned Over Tom Cruise’s Wild Antics
Tom’s friends have talked with him in the past. They have suggested he cut back on his wild antics and let up on his question to remain young. “Tom is always pushing his body to improve,” an insider told Radar Online.
“A few years ago, he started to get interested in all aspects of breathing and how dialing it in can be a game-changer for overall health. The first thing he did was tape his mouth shut at night to ensure that he was breathing through his nose.“
They find his quest to push himself alarming. He is so committed that sources add that Tom has even built a special tank to practice holding his breath underwater. He has made the exercises a part of his routine and already rigorous daily workout sessions.
It is a lot between his routine cold plunges, breathing challenges, and daily cryotherapy. He also goes to hyperbaric oxygen chambers, where sources reveal he binges on oxygen multiple times per week.
Tom Cruise swears everything he does helps to keep him looking and feeling years younger than his age. Tom’s quest is dangerous, though. His close friends fear he will overdo it and cause himself great harm. They continuously warn him that he is “risking death.”
The actor is stubborn and wants to keep up with his routine. They hope to convince Tom to pull it back before something seriously goes wrong. However, it only makes him more determined than ever.
