- Create a free account on the Nexus Mods website.
- Find a mod that you want to install.
- In the mod’s Files, download the most recent main file.
- Locate the mod file in your downloads folder and unzip the file.

- Place the nativePC file in your Monster Hunter World native file on your PC.
- Open Monster Hunter World and ensure that the mod was installed properly
The video above by AngBata 11 pm YouTube also does a good job of explaining how to install mods to Monster Hunter World.
15. Raging Brachydios Beta Male Armor Pigment Retouching
Have you ever wanted to change your Raging Brachydios male armor? You’re given tons of colors to choose from and can even retouch if you’d like.
14. Satisfying True Charged Slash
If you’re looking for more pep in your greatsword’s charged slashes, then this is the mod for you. You’ll experience an earthquake-like effect every time you do a charged slash. Added effects, sounds, and visuals make it seem more powerful than it actually is.
13. Johnny Silverhorn’s Weapon
Are you a fan of Cyberpunk 2077? Well, you can bring the iconic Johhny Silverhand into your Monster Hunter World game! Not really, but you can bring a modded guitar weapon themed after him into the game! Johnny Silverhand is not included.
12. Primordial Risen Alatreon
This mod brings the Primordial Risen Alatreon to the game! There’s love, behaviors, gameplay changes, and more added on behalf of the monster. There’s even a customized monster emblem that will show up to really immerse you.
11. Roules A La Cannelle Hunting Horn
Cinnamon rolls are great. They’re even greater when they’re paired with Teostra’s Hunting Horn. Now, you can walk around in delicious style. Or, you can scare everyone in you path with the giant fork you’re holding.
10. Sephiroth Hairstyle
Lucious locks are just as important as a fly outfit. We promise that having long hair won’t get in the way of hunting any monsters. If anything, they’ll just stop and stare at how convincing you look as Sephiroth.
9. Whistle Meme
If you haven’t come across the Josh Hutcherson Whistle meme, now you have. This mod replaces the call whistle in the game with the infamous meme. Personally, this one might make you delete it just after a few uses.
8. Nergigante Greatsword Remake
This mod makes the original Nergigante Greatsword a little more interesting. Not that the previous wasn’t. It just didn’t have the flair that this particular mod does.
7. Skinny Jeans and Tall Boots
Why wouldn’t you want to hunt monsters in skinny jeans and boots? It’s quite literally the best winter outfit you could be in. If you aren’t showing off what’s in your closet while playing, what’s even the point of playing at all?
6. Anime Quest Board
This mod is a favorite among Nexus Mods users. This changes the quest board to an image of four teenagers and an overly charismatic dinosaur. Install at your own risk and, you know, make sure you lock your door if you live with your parents.
5. Bonk and Metal Pipe Sound Effects
The name says it all. With this mod, you’ll hear all the bonks and metal sounds your heart needs. Instead of those silly slicing and dicing sounds, now you can have some fun.
4. Clean Start Iceborne Save
Instead of jumping straight into the game with your last save, you can have up to three saves with this mod. Previously, you could have one world with three characters. Now, the world seems limitless… times three!
3. Bazelgeuse Long Sword
The shape of the Bazelgeuse Long Sword can be changed with this mod. This gives the weapon more of a longsword look than previous. We felt that the original look just made it look like a regular-sized, serrated sword.
2. Healthnotes With Crown
With this mod, you’re able to see the monster’s HP as well as crown information. This provides you with a huge advantage every time you go hunt. Now, you can better time how long it will take to defeat monsters.
1. Am I A Farmer
This mod adds extra farmable items within the Botanical Garden. It can only be used in the Iceborne DLC, so don’t worry if it isn’t immediately working after installation. Some of the comments listed on Nexus Mods state that it doesn’t work with other mods. The credits also state that before using it, you need to install the Stracker’s Loader mod.
Monster Hunter World is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
