Love Is Blind season 4 men have held fans spellbound since the first five episodes dropped on Netflix on Friday, March 24. The show has featured so many twists and turns, from the pods’ stage through to the final moments of the show. In truth, there has hardly been a dull moment, and fans have rightly dubbed season 4 the best in the series yet. Much of the show’s success has been down to the exciting interactions between the contestants from the pods’ stage.
From messy love triangles to embarrassing singing performances, the show’s cast put everything on the line. The couples that made it out of the pods’ stage took the entertainment to a new level — with a healthy flavor mix. While viewers watched pairs like Brett Brown and Tiffany Pennywell excel at communication and exude great understanding, there has also been the chaotic pairing of Marshall Glaze and Jackie Bonds, who provided drama through their constant fighting and arguments.
However, the male contestants have been the undeniable stars of the show this season. Unlike the previous Love Is Blind season, where most males earned huge criticisms and often turned out as players, Love Is Blind season 4 features a remarkable array of the male cast. They have primarily outshone the women due to their emotional vulnerability and availability. Their attitude has made them fan favorites, albeit in varying degrees of appeal. Below are the top four Love Is Blind men ranked by their likability.
Brett Brown (Love Is Blind Season 4)
Brett Brown is arguably one of the most loved Love Is Blind season 4 men in this season and the history of Love Is Blind. Most fans see him as an excellent catch for Tiffany Pennywell, and it is not difficult to see why there is so much hype around him. Their relationship showcases black love in its purest form, which most Love Is Blind fans just witnessed on the show for the first time.
On Reddit, one particular user, protestgrandma, even started a “Brett appreciation post!” thread, where they showered praise on the reality star. The OP began by expressing their admiration for Brett’s beautiful qualities. The user then compared Brett and Tiffany’s relationship with Cameron and Lauren from season 1 before declaring support for the couple.
Brett was sincere and allowed himself to be vulnerable with Tiffany at the pods by sharing his complex childhood trauma. However, what won him many admirers is how emotionally available he is to Tiffany. He also never passes up an opportunity to compliment her looks and intellect, and their values align entirely. More importantly, Brett genuinely tries to be there for Tiffany, showing how much he gets along with her friends. Fans do not doubt that he is ready for marriage with Tiffany and sees him as an excellent catch for her due to his personality and looks.
Marshall Glaze (Love Is Blind Season 4)
Marshall Glaze is another favorite from the array of Love Is Blind season 4 men who viewers cannot stop fawning over. The wannabe poet wears his heart on his sleeves, a trait Jackie Bonds fell for in the pods. Although his fierce battle for Jackie’s heart nearly came to blows when she tearfully confessed that she had to choose between him and Josh Demas. However, fans were sure it would never get to that. In their eyes, Marshall could be guilty of no violence. Many of the fans had already fallen under the spell of his beautiful blue eyes and endless patience.
On Reddit, Marshall has amassed quite a strong following of dedicated fans throughout the season. Recently, One user CassTeaElle started a thread about Marshall, captioned, “Marshall is a freaking National Treasure.” The user expressed their awe for Marshall while praising him for “single-handedly re-teaching all the men in his life to have a healthy relationship with emotions.”
Marshall’s emotional maturity was in full swing as he had to deal with an onslaught of attacks from Jackie — who was a handful. Although she later admitted to coping with serious family issues during filming, Marshall was always a calming presence and sought to help her through her endless mood swings. Even after Jackie dumped his disrespectfully for Josh, Marshall handled it gracefully. His bromance with Brett has also been one of the most beautiful things in the series.
Kwame Appiah (Love Is Blind Season 4)
Kwame quickly stood out from the Love Is Blind season 4 men at the show’s beginning, leading the way with his genuine smile, kind-hearted nature, and near-perfect body. He went on to make waves with his strong connection with Micah Lussier at the pods, but that left him heartbroken after she dumped him for Paul Peden. However, he seemed to find redemption with Chelsea Griffin, and the two got engaged. Although he claimed to be all-in with Chelsea, his subsequent flirty display with Micah during the Mexico honeymoon put him in the firing lines for many of the show’s viewers.
Since then, he has grown into one of the most divisive characters on the show, as he constantly splits fans’ opinions due to some of his antics. He primarily showed signs of not being ready to settle down with Chelsea, or at least in the way she wants. When he hesitated to give a definite answer during the March 31 episode, some fans went into a meltdown and tore into the former footballer.
Thankfully, Kwame has not found himself alone at this time. Another section of the show’s fanbase continues to show support for Kwame and feels the online hate aimed at him is uncalled for. Nonetheless, he got some goodwill back when he said “Yes” to his marriage vows to Chelsea. His patience with Chelsea and willingness to make sacrifices earned him substantial fan plaudits.
Zack Goytowski
Zack caught viewers’ attention when he lied at the pods that he was a stripper. However, he later revealed it was for him to express his childhood trauma of losing his mom, who raised him by herself and had to work as a stripper at some point to support the family financially. Zack showed bad judgment during the pods as he picked Irina Solomonova over Bliss Poureetezadi, who deserved better. However, after an atrocious honeymoon in Mexico, Zack and Irina broke up, and Bliss graciously gave him another chance.
Throughout his relationship with Bliss, Zack has drawn much criticism due to what some describe as a superego. Some viewers feel he tends to make everything about himself and only wants Bliss by his side in a minimal supporting role. While this may hold some water, some fans feel the heat from fans is unfair. A Twitter user recently summed up the feelings of this group of fans when they wrote,
“Can someone please explain to me why everyone hates Zack on Love is Blind season 4? I think he’s lovely, if not a little misguided, and I feel really bad.”
Nonetheless, Zack weathered the storm and has never hidden from his mistake for initially leaving Bliss. The couple worked on their relationship and happily exchanged vows during the season finale. Despite their shortcomings, the Love Is Blind men have exhibited more emotional maturity and intelligence than the male contestants from previous seasons. Irrespective of what happens with their partners in the season 4 finale, the men have given a good account of themselves and deserve to leave with their heads held high.
