“I’m not a traitor to my country,” Greene said. He had no compassion for death threats on my children.” She also claimed that Trump told her that if her son were to be killed, it would be her fault.
In response, Greene said, “No one’s children should ever be the victim of death threats or have any kind of political violence brought on them because of our politics, because of our disagreements.” She also claimed that Trump showed “no compassion whatsoever,” adding that his reaction revealed what kind of person he was. She said, “Some of my biggest political enemies would never say that to me,” and described his alleged remarks as “unimaginable.”
