Vampire Survivors feature many weapons, but not all of them are at their best right away. Take Garlic, for instance. It works out well in the beginning, but other weapons tend to rank higher than it down the road. Still, you might want to try it out. For all you Vampire Survivors players out there, we’ll help you learn how to evolve Garlic, which happens to feature an easy weapon evolution path to follow.

The first thing you need to do is get Garlic, which is unlocked after you find 5 Floor Chickens. Once you have it, you have to follow the prerequisites:
- Get the weapon to Level 8
- Get the correct power-up: Pummarola
- Collect a rare enemy’s chest that spawns once the counter gets to 10:00
To evolve Garlic in Vampire Survivors, it will need the Pummarola accessory power-up. This power-up is helpful on its own as it will increase your health regeneration by 0.1/s. Keep leveling Garlic to transform it into Soul Eater.
Garlic works by damaging enemies that wind up within its radius. Useful in the beginning, but other weapons you may find help out more later down the line as the difficulty increases.
If you want to get the most out of it before evolving it, consider using buffs like Spellbinder to improve how it functions; when you do evolve Garlic in Vampire Survivors, Soul Eater will steal hearts. Not only that, but it also increases your power while you recover HP.
