Virginia Democrat Calls Out Condition of Trump Supporter’s Home: ‘I Think That’s Called Hypocrisy’

Quite the lively direction in outdoor decor

While a book shouldn’t be judged by its cover, plenty of people were quick to judge the state of one strikingly distinctive home in western Virginia. Shared on r/pics by Reddit user DogsAreOurFriends, a photo of a Trump supporter’s home sparked concern about its appearance and how politically charged the decor was. From demanding the beheading of Joe Biden to plenty of Trump-centric paraphernalia, the house left many quite disturbed.

“How in the world is this guy walking free when apparently making ’86 47′ out of sea shells is considered an actionable threat?” questioned a commenter, referring to the call to violence on Joe Biden decorating the Virginia home. “I think that’s called hypocrisy,” wrote another in response.

Thousands labeled the person’s house as “an actual display of Trump Derangement Syndrome.” DogsAreOurFriends agreed in a comment, “While there is no shortage of Trumpers there [near the West Virginia border], this might exceed them in sheer TDS.”

The Poster of the Photo Claimed Very Wealthy People Lived Not to Far From this Virginia Home

Besides the political decor posted all over the house, some people also pointed out how rundown the place looked on the outside. “Lives in abject poverty and filth…. Excitedly promotes the people working hard to make it worse,” sighed a user. The surprising thing is that OP claims “the wealthiest county in the US is about 90 minutes away” from this rough-looking home, implying the stark contrast of rich neighborhoods nearby.

While some took pity on the state of the Virginia homeowner’s property, others took a jab at their alleged mental state. “Like, this is so far beyond just supporting a politician or party. This is mental illness and the type of folks who should be on a list,” remarked a commenter. “That looks like something you’d see in Fallout,” joked another.

As OP mentioned, there are very well-to-do folks living in Virginia. That said, they believed the sight of a home like the one in their post’s photo would show a thought-provoking contrast with what was mostly a “very lovely area” of the state. Regardless of political banter or criticism in the comments, the person’s home truly shows insight into how drastically different residents’ wealth can be, even just a short-ish drive away.
