The endgame in Warframe typically consists of trying to exceed whatever godly damage and combat performance your Warframe builds are capable of. For that matter, mods like Precision Intensify, introduced in Update 35, can be huge enablers to this hypnotic feedback loop of power and progress. Like most new additions to the game’s reward pool, however, obtaining Precision Intensify in Warframe is a rather cloudy affair. We’re here to uncloud that affair.
What is Precision Intensify in Warframe?
First, however, you’ll want to know why a lot of high-level or endgame players are raving about Precision Intensify. It’s a rare mod that functions similarly to Intensify and Umbral Intensify but with an added quirk. Here’s what the effect looks like at max rank:
- +90% Ability Strength for your 4th Ability
That’s it, pretty simple and even brief, right? But you have to consider that even staple Ability Strength mods such as Umbral Intensify can only give up to 44 percent. Transient Fortitude only gives up to 55 percent, but with a major drawback.
The only mod that exceeds Precision Intensify in Ability Strength increase is Blind Rage (99 percent) though that also comes with a heavy reduction to Efficiency. That’s why Precision Intensify is ideal for Warframes that rely mostly on their 4th or ultimate Ability. Mesa comes to mind here.
Of course, you’re sacrificing the Ability Strength for your other Abilities since you can’t use this one with other Intensify mods. So, the applications are somewhat limited. Still, certain Warframes can benefit a lot from this mod, especially builds that take advantage of the 4th Ability.
How To Obtain Precision Intensify?
As always, there’s a lot of RNG and luck involved in getting rare mods in Warframe. We count three methods in obtaining Warframe‘s Precision Intensify mod.
- Kill Murmur enemies in Deimos (we recommend either Mirror Defense in Munio or Survival in Persto). There’s a low drop chance for Precision Intensify.
- Kill The Fragmented Zelator/Suzeraine/Anchorite boss in Effervo, Deimos. It’s an Assassination mission. There’s a higher drop chance for Precision Intensify here (though it’s still low).
- This is a two-stage Assassination mission. You will need to collect Murmer Eyes first, so we recommend bringing in a squad to progress the first stage faster. After that, the boss fight is simple enough and similar to The Fragmented boss in the “Whispers in the Walls quest.”
- Trade for it. At the time of writing, the Platinum price for Precision Intensify hovers at around 20 Platinum. This might change erratically.
The third method is the easiest and doesn’t rely on RNG, and you might also want to leverage that method if you want to earn some quick Platinum while Precision Intensify is still hot.
