The much-anticipated Warzone 2.0 arrives with several features to explore, like the DMZ game mode, which excites many players from many different places. This is Call of Duty’s take on traditional Sandbox Mode that everyone loves. But if you don’t want to squad up in this mode, maybe you could be more interested in discovering it yourself or just with your closest friend. If so, the DMZ Warzone 2 mode is for you, as you can play in Solo or Duo.

Play DMZ Mode Solo or Duo in Warzone 2

Warzone 2 DMZ Solo Duo Missions

It might seem familiar if you played games like Escape from Tarkov, the DMZ mode in Warzone 2. There are even various missions you must accomplish. It’s certainly a step away from the Battle Royale mode, but it’s an excellent choice for players who seek something more.

The DMZ mode in Warzone 2 is certainly intense. You are only given a single life. So, if you die, the non-permanent items you’ve gathered in your Backpack are gone. The only way to save everything you’ve acquired is to Exfiltrate.

Despite the challenges, some of you are itching to test yourself here. In this case, you may want to jump into the mode Solo. For those daring, you absolutely can. Doing this method even allows you to jump into the game on Duos, too. Just follow the method below:

  1. Launch the DMZ menu in Warzone 2.0
  2. Select Squad Fill
  3. Toggle it to “Off”

And there you go! You can now play the DMZ mode in Warzone 2 Solo. Are you more interested in playing with a friend for Duos? Well, you still want to follow the steps above. However, remember to send an invitation to your friend. This way, they can join your lobby as you enter the DMZ game mode.

The toggle feature isn’t immediately obvious. Just look for a button that reads “Squad Fill.” It may be right under the “Start” button or near it.

Remember that you must complete a series of missions in DMZ, which makes this mode a bit tougher in Warzone 2. So, if you truly want to play in Solo or Duo mode, be sure that you’re ready to handle it all without dying.

For those of you who are more interested in rushing in with a squad and getting all the rewards, remember to leave the toggle to “on” instead.
