Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded is here, and just like any other Season, the meta has changed. This time, we have an automatic shotgun that can change the gameplay, especially on a more compact map like Vondel. But that’s not the only superpowered tool you should pick after the mid-Season update. The complete list of Season 4 Reloaded buffed weapons is mentioned here in this post. And several guns are nerfed so you can shelf their loadouts for later use. Here are the best meta weapons to use in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, based on recent patch notes.
Buffed Weapons of Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded
- KV Broadside
- Vaznev-9K
- Bryson 890
- Expedite 12
- Lockwood MK2
- SA-B 60
As you can tell, Season 4 Reloaded is a shotgun update. There are fewer changes to the SMGs and no changes at all to the Sniper Rifles, except for nerfing the SP-X. However, the KV Broadside’s range has increased dramatically. So if you’re a meta user and want to annihilate the whole lobby in Vondel, this shotgun is one of the top picks. Not to mention that the range on KV Broadside was not inferior to other shotguns before the update. This update just overpowered something already powerful in the first place.
Next is the Vaznev-9K SMG. This fast weapon was always a trustworthy mate in any mode for Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 players. However, it was nerfed for hitting mid-range targets in the previous Season. This is something that the Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded has changed to make this SMG a meta weapon again.
After that, we have yet another buff for the Bryson 890. This is the young sibling of the Bryson 800, and the devs want these two weapons to have similar firepower. Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded update has nerfed Bryson 800 for having a huge advantage of damage and range. But on the other hand, the 890 model can now deliver more damage while hitting targets in the lower torso.
Speaking of shotguns in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded patch notes, the Expodite 12 is also buffed. This shotgun is not a fan favorite, but it’s good news for its users to know that it can now pack a punch in MW2. Additionally, its reduced bullet spread in the hip fire gives it more accuracy in Warzone 2. Aside from the shotgun’s kingdom, we also have a minor buff over the mobility for Lockwood MK2 and SA-B 60 marksman rifles in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded patch notes.
Nerfed Guns in Season 4 Reloaded
- ISO 45
- Kastov 762
- Kastov 74u
- TAQ-56
- Bryson 800
- Tempus Torrent
- EBR-14
Here’s the nerf list for Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded update. The bold name on the list here is probably the new ISO 45 SMG. Just after a few weeks of arrival in Season 4, now the Reloaded update slammed this poor SMG to stay out of the meta zone. With the new stats of ISO 45, this weapon now has a wider bullet spread when firing from the hip, which only means inaccuracy. And you’ll get less firepower when shooting targets from close range. The SMG is built to kill enemies at close-range, and if it’s nerfed on this matter, it’s a huge disappointment.
Next are the three weapons from the Assault Rifle class. Sadly for AK-47 fans, this weapon’s meta-time has just ended. This gun is now heavier for movement and ADS time while also delivering less headshot damage in Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer. The same goes for its little brother Kastov-74u and the TAQ-56. The 74u model got nerfed for hip-fire accuracy, and the TAQ-56 delivers less headshot damage in Modern Warfare 2.
Moving on from the ARs, the nerf of the Bryson 800 is not a concern for the users, as it is only for MW2. However, taking a look at the Marksman Rifle’s class, we got the nerd of the popular EBR-14 and the once-powerful Tempus Torrent. However, these nerfs do not affect the Warzone gameplay that much. The only thing Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded takes away from them is the ADS time speed.
What Are The Meta Weapons in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded?
- SO-14
- MX Guardian
- KV Broadside
- Lachmann-Sub
- Vaznev-9K
- Lachmann-556
The SO-14 is the best here in this list because you can turn it into a Marksman Rifle or an Assault Rifle. And this variation comes with clicking a simple button to change it from single to automatic firing modes! It has enough damage to take down the ranged targets, its mobility is solid, and the best thing you need to know about this MR is that it’ll use AR rounds instead of Sniper Rifle ammo.
Next is the MX Guardian, which is an automatic shotgun. And then the KV Broadside for having a weird damage range that can make your enemies scream in their mikes after you’ve wiped them from the lobby. The trustworthy Lachmanns are still kicking in Warzone 2 Season 4 as well. But if you want a fast weapon that can hit ranged targets with the least recoil ever, the Vaznev-9K is an ideal choice.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Battle.Net.
