A fresh season has started in Warzone, and the meta has changed for all weapon categories. Now after building the best SMGs, it’s time to focus on the best Warzone Season 3 meta AR loadouts. Season 3 has some surprising buffs to the older MW2 weapons, bringing back the good old Kastov 762 and TAQ-56. However, we’re only looking for the meta ARs here. Good is not enough for winning matches in Ranked Play against tough opponents. If you’re not playing sniper and want to dominate the mid- to long-range battles, you’ll enjoy the following intel.
5. Lachnmann-556
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Ammunition: .45 NATO High Grain Rounds
- Magazine: 60-Round Mag
- Optic: KR Mortis Precision 2.5x
The Lachman bros were so popular last year. With the Lachman-Sub being an absolute dominator in almost every season of Warzone 2, and the Lachmann-556 as a stable AR, no gun would dare dethrone the Lachs. However, MW3 weapons took all this fame away, until Warzone Season 3. Lachman-556 is once again buffed in the game, and we can use the new MW3 attachments like the High Grain Rounds on it to build an even stronger AR.
4. TR-76 Geist
- Barrel: Freight-40 Barrel
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Magazine: 45-Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Stip-66 Grip
- Optic: Intlas Cas-14
You might have already found TR-76 Geist as ground loot in the game and felt the power that comes with it even if you’re on one of the worst maps. Another MW2 AR is back in meta territory in Warzone and MW3 Season 3, and you can use the loadout above to bring the best out of this weapon.
3. Holger 556
- Barrel: Chrios-6 Match
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Magazine: 40-Round Mag
- Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
Holger 556 has always been a steady rifle to use in MW3 and Warzone. Accurate and balanced, this weapon has been the meta-killer since the release of MW3. However, it’s been given a chance to shine even more in Warzone Season 3, entering the meta weapon’s yard to use in your best AR loadouts.
2. BP50
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Barrel: Lore-9 Heavy Barrel
- Magazine: 45-Round Mag
- Stock: Moat-40 Stock
- Optic: KR Mortis Precision 2.5x
Every time we check the nerfs and buffs patch notes of a new Call of Duty season, we should be doubting some of its listed items. For example, HRM-9 is nerfed, and well, it’s the #1 SMG in the game. BP50 AR is also nerfed. Or is it? It feels like it only takes one more bullet to pin down an opponent in Warzone with the BP50. And with this weapon’s super high fire rate, that shouldn’t be a problem at all.
1. RAM-7
- Muzzle: JAK BFB
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Ammunition: 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds
- Magazine: 60-Round Mag
- Optic: KR Mortis Precision 2.5x
It’s the second time that RAM-7 is being nerfed, but people are still using this meta rifle in their loadouts as the best AR in Warzone Season 3. The fire rate is too high, the damage is balanced, and the accuracy is one of the hardest to handle if you’re not using the right attachments.
So far it’s been proved that the developers are bringing MW2 weapons back into action with new seasons. Warzone and MW3 Season 3 have brought many buffs to the older guns, but still, the newer MW3 rifles and SMGs are dominating with RAM-7 standing on the #1 spot in the AR category.
Call of Duty: Warzone and MW3 Season 3 are available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
