Call of Duty: Warzone has undergone a huge change, making big differences in the gameplay mechanics and bringing forth the new Urzikestan map in Season 1. The new battle royal experience feels more similar to how it played in Warzone 1 two years ago. However, there are a lot of new details that you should pay close attention to if you want to win this gunfight. Bravo team on board; let’s review our info on Warzone Urzikestan map’s tips and tricks for winning this operation in Season 1.
Level Up Your Weapons in Plunder
With the latest update, we now have more than 25 new weapons from MW3 being integrated into Warzone. You can still use your MW2 weapons, but even the best blueprints you had aren’t worth anything in the new Warzone Season 1 meta. It’s all about MW3 weapons like Striker, MCW, and other rifles that have super quick TTKs. So before heading over to the Battle Royal or Resurgence modes, stop by and play some Plunder to level up your account and your weapons. There’s less stress for winning in Plunder, and you’ll redeploy as many times as it takes.
The Stim Shot Works Like Good Old Times
Not all players have asked for this balancing change in the game, but Stim Shot tactical equipment now works like it used to do in Warzone 1. That said, if you’re a hit-and-run player, remember to have some of these in your operator’s pocket and use them to both refill your HP and get an increase in movement speed for a few seconds. And if they tried to stop you with Flash and Stun grenades, the Battle Hardened perk is there to counter it.
Practice The Tactical Stance
First, when we saw the Tactical Stance movement behavior in MW3, we thought that it wouldn’t be such a big deal. However, it proved to be a big game changer in close-range combat, and now it’s in Warzone Urzikestan. No matter the map, if you’re in a close quarter combat, the Tactical Stance gives you more movement advantage to strafe and win 1v1 situations.
Get in Position Before Each Zone
This tip goes for any battle royal game, and it works as one of the most crucial rules of Warzone. In both Battle Royal and Resurgence modes, you need to monitor the next zone before entering the moving phase. And before anything happens, you need to find the best position to stay and fight in with each area. Remember that the best way to farm kills and stay safe from the zone is by keeping near its edges.
Movement is Very Important in Warzone
With Warzone Season 1’s update and the addition of reload and slide canceling, movement has once more become one of the most important aspects of the gameplay. This new experience rewards the players who react faster, aim better, and dodge the enemy’s attack with movement to strafe. So it’s always worth it to spend some time in modes like Plunder to learn the new movement mechanics and get along with it. Get To Know The Current Meta
Players aiming for the win always try their best to hunt the weapon and equipment meta after every major update. Currently, after the Warzone Season 1 overhaul, a lot has changed. That means that if you enjoyed using the Vel 46 for its quick TTK and built a solid loadout with Bas-P SMG before the update, there’s no way you can rely on those anymore. We always try our best to cover the best weapon loadouts with meta stats here in The Nerd Stash, so here’s a list of some current meta weapons and their loadouts in Warzone Urzikestan:
- Striker
- WSP Swarm
- MCW & MCW Jak Raven Kit
- Striker 9
- Bas-B
- FR 5.56
You Can Leave Gulag With A Zipline
Gulag is your second chance when you’re defeated in the Warzone Urzikestan map, but there’s a tip on how to win it without fighting! Of course, if you manage to kill the opponent in front of you, you’ve got yourself a ticket to get back in the fight. But if you wait and survive, you’ll find a zipline dropped after a minute in the Gulag. So trick your enemy, stun him, or throw a smoke grenade in the middle, and use the zip to escape! This Warzone tip is for the Urzikestan Battle Royal only since there’s no Gulag on other maps and the Resurgence mode.
Use The Resolute Perk To Your Advantage
There are 29 perks available to pick in your loadout in Warzone Season 1, which is an increased number from what we used to have. However, there’s one ultimate perk that suits every playstyle and allows for escaping tough situations. The Resolute is a tier 3 perk in Warzone that activates an increase in your movement speed once you’re shot by an enemy. This has no particular limits on how many times it activates, and the perk works just like the ability of Bangalore of Apex Legends.
Stored Killstreaks Replace Automatically
This tip is for one of the best quality-of-life changes in Warzone Season 1 update, which is available to use in Urzikestan and all the other maps. Imagine it’s fire sale time, and you’re buying 3 UAVs for half the price to use later in the game. So, in this situation, if you’ve got enough slots in your backpack, all the UAVs will be stored in there, and then they replace the current one if you use any. That said, you won’t have to equip every single UAV yourself and open menus in the middle of the fight.
There Are One-Shot Snipers in Warzone!
One-shot headshots were doable in Warzone 2, but you needed to equip the explosive rounds for them, and the rule’s still on. However, there’s now a Katt-AMR sniper rifle that one-shots the opponents if you manage to hit their upper body! This is a big change for Warzone, and if you’re a sniper in the game, it’s good to try out the new Katt sniper rifle and give it some levels for a solid one-shot experience.
