A school nurse in Washington is facing online backlash after a confrontation at a farmers market escalated into profanity, political insults, and a remark about Jesus that many viewers interpreted as mocking Christianity.
A video shared by the couple showed them visiting the Issaquah Farmers Market when two women, whom online commenters identified as partners, confronted them over the man’s Charlie Kirk shirt. According to the couple, the confrontation also centered on the fact that they were shopping at a Mexican bakery, with one of the women suggesting they should not be supporting the business because of their political views. The woman who did most of the confronting was later identified online as a school nurse.
In the video, the woman asked the couple what country they thought the food came from. The woman in the couple replied that it came from Mexico and said the bakery owner was operating in a free country and should be able to sell her products to anyone.
The confrontation escalated after the woman in the couple said, “If you hate it here so much go somewhere else.” The other woman responded, “I hate you,” before adding, “I’m not tolerant. I’m just as tolerant as you are, [expletive].“
Later in the exchange, after the man told the woman that she needed Jesus, she responded with a profane remark referencing Jesus that many viewers interpreted as mocking Christianity. The woman accompanying her also called the couple “maggots” and later said, “Oh my God. Thank God he’s dead,” referring to Charlie Kirk, before raising her middle finger as the video came to an end.
In a follow-up video, the couple said one of the women had since been identified online as a Washington school nurse. They also said they did not want her to lose her job but believed she should face consequences for her behavior. As of publication, The Nerd Stash has not independently verified her employment, and it is unclear whether any school district has taken action regarding the incident.
Viewers Outraged After Washington School Nurse Harasses Couple
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers were left outraged by how the Washington school nurse treated the couple during the confrontation. Several believed that she and her partner were displaying intolerance toward people with different political views. “Their hate makes them so ugly,” one person wrote. Another commenter defended the couple, saying, “As a Mexican I really hate this whole idea of if you’re maga you hate Mexicans.”
Others expressed shock at the two women’s comments about Charlie Kirk’s death. “‘Thank God he’s dead’….. I don’t care what side you fall on. Murder is wrong. And the merciless death of a father is so sad… This behavior is disgusting and truly makes my heart heavy,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “and as usual maga control themselves while the liberals can’t.”
The video sparked a conversation about how political differences can escalate into confrontations. As of publication, it remains unclear whether the school district has opened an investigation or taken any disciplinary action regarding the incident.
