A Utah woman posted an exchange she had with another driver, who admitted that one of her children caused minor damage to her car. The conversation quickly heated up, with name-calling and eventually the arrival of police to mediate the situation.

Posted by Nishamarie333 on her personal TikTok account, Nisha asserts that a “Karen crashed out” on her after the mother’s son accidentally slammed his door into Nisha’s car mirror. She says the driver immediately began speaking to her in a “condescending” tone.

@nishamarie333

Utah Karen crashes out and calls police on me because her son SLAMMED his door into my mirror. She apologized but then immediately was like what is wrong with you? Are you okay?? Do you have a problem? saying it over and over in a condescending tone. She was very visibly angry and trying to enter my vehicle and looked as if she was going to try to hurt me. I shut my door gathered my things then got out, locked my van and went into the store. I took a photo of her plates on the way in just in case she tried to damage my vehicle while I was in the store. The funniest part?! I didn’t even care that it was scratched a little. A simple I’m sorry would’ve sufficed. Guess that’s what I get for having tattoos! Aitah??? I’m so confused.😂😂😂😂😂 #karens #wtfiswrongwiththislady #crazyasspeople #utahcheck #ididntevencare

After the two argued back and forth, the other driver stood in front of Nisha’s vehicle, which she claims was an attempt to block Nisha from entering her vehicle. Nisha suggests the woman get back in her vehicle until police arrive, but she refuses. “You’re a Karen, aren’t you?” Nisha remarks. “Your child hit my things, so who’s in the wrong?”

The mother and her children get back in the vehicle, and Nisha watches them make faces at her through the windshield. When police arrive, Nisha explains to them what happened. She claims the driver was going to leave. After Nisha took photos of their license plate, they supposedly pulled back in. She tells the officer the driver was being “very aggressive” with her and she felt “so uncomfortable.”

Nisha continues on with her insinuations, claiming the lady was “discriminating” her for her tattoos, assuming them to be LDS (Latter-Day Saints), all the while sobbing. One of the officers says he doesn’t think that’s “fair,” and that their move to call police was to “cover bases.”

Viewers argue both drivers were in the wrong and overreacted

Given how Nisha reacted, viewers online argued she was just as unreasonable (if not more so) than the other driver, who, for the most part, acted condescending but was otherwise calm and collected by comparison.

After a commenter wrote, “I’m sorry but I think you’re the Karen here,” Nisha fired back, saying the driver was “coming at me aggressively” and that she felt she would do further damage to her car while shopping.

Others argued the mother calling the police was justified to document damage to Nisha’s vehicle so she could claim damage and a hit-and-run against the driver. She added, “Seeing as you took a picture of the license plate over a mirror, I can see why they might worry 🤷‍♀️.”

One TikTok user defended Nisha, saying she wasn’t “in the wrong” and that “ownership for mistakes” wasn’t a “strong suit in Utah.” Though another argued the other driver was “wasting resources.”

Given the circumstances, the driver was likely just going through the right channels, as the police officer suggested. Even if it was a few scuffs, no driver wants to be then accused of fleeing the scene of an accident.
