Watch Dogs Legion is the third installment in the series and it’s getting a multiplayer component in the future. The series had a rough start but has maintained a cult following. And it has grown steadily since then. Despite the rocky start of the series, it has maintained a cult following. Unfortunately for PC players of the third installment, having a multiplayer element doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
Watch Dogs Legion PC Multiplayer Delayed Indefinitely
Multiplayer has always had problems with the Watch Dogs franchise. But each issue has been looked at, scrutinized, and fixed. Ubisoft has released a statement citing the problems with this title’s issue: “We’ve identified an issue in the PC version that can cause the game to crash for players with certain GPUs.”
Hardware taking issue with games is not uncommon. And computers are notorious for needing certain upgrades to perform at peak. But the multiplayer on PC is not the only one delayed. Also announced was the delay of the mode on Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Stadia versions of Watch Dogs Legion. Based on the announcement, it looks like the console versions have a few bugs to work out.
Here is some info on the game modes planned:
- Co-Op – For 2 to 4 players. Experience missions similar to those in the main questline. Work together to infiltrate, hack, and escape the location.
- Spiderbot Arena – The much-beloved Spider Bot comes to Watch Dogs Legion. Fight against three other players while controlling your own giant mech-spider. Fight from the ground or drop in from above. But be sure to be aware of your surroundings.
- Tactical Ops – A version of raid or heist, comprised of multiple missions. To ensure mission success, communication and coordination if of the utmost importance.
- Invasion – A classic from the first Watch Dogs title. Jump into another hacker’s single-player campaign, and hack their data before disappearing.
