Whether you enjoy PvP or prefer to test your combat prowess against monsters on the high seas, Water Body is one of the best defensive powers in Blox Fruits. This unique ability is exclusive to Version 3 Sharks, so you won’t see Humans or Angels running around with it. Even if you’re not trying to unlock this ability for yourself, it’s worth understanding what Water Body does in this Roblox pirate game. That way you’ll be better prepared to face this unique power the next time you encounter it in PvP. Here’s everything you need to know about what the Shark’s Water Body does in Blox Fruits.

Water Body is a power exclusive to Sharks in Blox Fruits, so if you’re playing an Angel or another race, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Once a Shark has evolved to V3 with the help of the Arowe NPC (found in the Second Sea), they can access this formidable defensive ability. Keep in mind that although Water Body provides powerful protection, it doesn’t guard against non-player sources of damage such as lava. DoT effects such as Poison can still harm you as well, so be mindful. Here’s what Water Body does in Blox Fruits:

When the player activates Water Body, a swirling water vortex surrounds the character. The 80% damage reduction effect will let you survive all but the most devastating attacks. That makes it ideal for toughing one’s way through boss attacks and high DPS combos in PvP. Arguably the power’s main weakness is its 30s cooldown. That’s a long time to go without a defensive buff. Always be mindful of the cooldown when using this ability. You need to make sure you survive not only the present attack but also whatever follow-ups your opponent might throw your way.

Roblox is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.
