Where To Find Lake Hylia Whirlpool
Finding Lake Hylia is quite easy as it is one of the big lakes in the game. It is located in the western part of the Faron region. You can find it by following south from Hyrule Field. The world in Tears of the Kingdom is very interactive and logical. In other words, if it seems to you that some items and structures look unusual, you will surely be able to interact with them and get some kind of reward. And the Lake Hylia Whirlpool is one of those places.
This huge whirlpool may seem dangerous at first glance. However, in reality, it is completely safe as long as you do not run out of stamina. Therefore, we do not recommend you swim to it from the shore. Instead, you can use the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower to fly to Lake Hylia Whirlpool and just fall into it.
After that, you will see a short cutscene in which Link falls into Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave. It is a small cave with nothing of note except for the En-oma Shrine. You can interact with it to start The Lake Hylia Crystal quest. But unlike other similar quests in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you have to go quite far for Crystal. And when you find the Crystal you need, you again have to dive into Whirlpool.
