At the beginning of the game, players barely have enough tools and materials to survive. However, it is a blessing that they have landed on a planet abundant in minerals, which you can use to build tools and improve your equipment. As astronauts explore Planet Crafter, new and better resources appear to create more sophisticated machines, such as aluminum. Aluminum is a mineral needed to make more specific machines or super alloys, which will help you advance in your mission to transform the deserted planet into one full of life.
Aluminum Location in Planet Crafter
Unlike other resources, aluminum is not abundant all over the planet’s terrain, as with Iron, Ice, Silicone, etc. Aluminum is found in different spots, so you must be well prepared to discover this metal’s deposits. The biome with the most considerable amount of aluminum is the Aluminum Hills. The location may vary depending on your map, but this place contains the material you need. You will recognize it immediately because it is full of shiny rocks like crystals, and the ground is darker. If you have trouble distinguishing aluminum from other materials, it is an opaque vertical structure similar to an amalgam of metal pipes.
There are other locations in Planet Crafter where you can find aluminum, such as in the deposits of different materials like Iridium, Sulfur, Zeolite, and The Labyrinth Canyons. Another way to collect aluminum is by exploring wrecks and opening crates around the map. It is uncommon, but you can find several pieces this way. Also, more materials will appear after meteor showers, but they only last a few minutes before disappearing. Remember to protect yourself from meteorites. Once you have enough aluminum, you can build more advanced Tier 2 machines, which are useful for terraforming the desertic planet into an oasis.
