Where to Find Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

Citrine is an orange Gem in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players will need for various Dreamlight Duties, Pixar Fest Star Coin Duties, and Friendship Quests, such as Mother Gothel’s “Shine a Light.” During this quest, Dreamers are tasked with crafting Sunlight Torches, which require multiple Gem types, including Citrine. To see where a specific resource can be found, players can open the Collection screen and check the note in the bottom-left corner. However, this location information only appears for discovered items, meaning those who have yet to find Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley will not be able to see its biomes.

Citrine Locations In Disney Dreamlight Valley

To find Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Saviors must mine mineral nodes within the biomes of the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau, which are southwest and northwest of the Plaza, respectively. Citrine is not a common drop, but it will come from both standard nodes and mining spots where Gems can be seen protruding out of the rock’s surface.

To unlock the Glade of Trust, players will need 5,000 Dreamlight, and the Sunlit Plateau requires 7,000 Dreamlight to clear away its entrance. It should be mentioned that both biomes have areas that are initially unreachable until certain conditions have been met. However, players can bypass this obstacle by entering the Furniture placement mode and placing the Wishing Well into the inaccessible area. This action enables Dreamers to fast travel to locations with more Citrine nodes without having to unlock them formally in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Another piece of advice for Disney Dreamlight Valley players is that bringing a Villager with the Mining profession skill will make Citrine farming runs much more profitable. Similar to Fishing or Farming, having a companion leveled in Mining can occasionally increase the yield of a mineral node. If the node happens to produce Citrine, then players will receive multiple stacks of the Gem instead of just one. Of course, this yield boost is randomized, but it is still highly recommended when farming any gemstone within the Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
