Driftboards in Fortnite are much more fun to use than the monotonous vehicles found in previous Chapters, such as Nitro Drifter, Titano Mudflap, Octane, Trail Thrasher, or Nitro Fang. And Driftboards finally returned with Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG; I’m sure many Fortnite players like me are very excited. Although you can’t fly as far and perform as incredible stunts as you can with the Quadcrasher, Driftboards are extremely satisfying to use, and they get you where you’re going quickly.
Driftboard Locations in Fortnite
Wailing Woods
One of the locations where you can find Driftboards in Fortnite is Wailing Woods. This location is relatively small and has no place to take cover. Also, loot is very limited. However, despite this, players often land in this location. If you go down here to find a Driftboard in Fortnite, make sure you find weapons and eliminate your opponents before they do first.
To find the Driftboard, head towards the Tomato Temple, and you can see the Driftboards right next to the small shack in the forest. Another location is on the opposite side of this small shack.
Tomato Temple
There are always a few players who jump into Tomato Temple every game. The biggest reason for this is that it is located in the center of the map and close to other locations. Sweaty players who land in places like Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, or Paradise Palms usually don’t land here. Driftboards at Tomato Temple are on the Tomato Tunnel road. You can see the Driftboard when you head towards this tunnel in Fortnite.
Loot Lake
Another Driftboard location in Fortnite is Loot Lake. This area is normally dead almost every game, but with the return of Kevin The Cube, this area is more alive than ever, so keep that in mind if you’re landing here. Driftboards at Loot Lake are located in a campground on the side of the Tomato Temple.
Retail Row
The mall section of Retail Row is the easiest to get to and the location with the most Driftboards in Fortnite. However, Retail Row is a hot zone for fights, so there’s a good chance you’ll get into a fight if you land here.
Lucky Landing
Lucky Landing is another location where you can find Driftboards in Fortnite. Compared to many other locations, Lucky Landing is a very quiet place and I’m sure you can easily get out of here with your Driftboard intact. You can find Driftboards in Lucky Landing right next to the building with the pink tree in the middle.
Shift Shafts Bus Crash
Outside Shifty Shaft, towards Salty Springs, is a crashed Battle Bus. You can find 2 chests and a Driftboard here, but there is no other loot. For this reason, almost no players will land here, so you are safe here.
How To Use Driftboards in Fortnite
Driftboards in Fortnite can be a bit more difficult to use than other vehicles. They are a bit similar to motorcycles in terms of usage, but in my opinion, they are much more useful than them. Using them correctly can get you from point A to point B faster than most vehicles.
Just like with Quadcrashes, knowing when to use the boost feature on Driftboards is essential. You won’t go very fast if you only use boost on a straight road. But if you use boost only when going up a hill, you will fly quite high with your Driftboard, and thus, you will cover more distance.
You also have to maintain your balance in the air with the control keys, and when you fall to the ground, you have to land at a right angle. Otherwise, you may find yourself in an unexpected place due to an unlucky accident.
You may not find Driftboards in these locations every time you go, this is because the game randomly changes these locations. However, these locations are spawn points for Driftboards.
