Do you want to know where to find Shiny Tatsugiri in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Tatsugiri is a Dragon/Water-type Pokemon, and it is special in several ways.

Tatsugiri is a new Pokemon, introduced in Gen nine, and it has three different forms, Droopy, Stretchy, and Curly. Each form represents a different form, and each form can be Shiny. Like it isn’t hard catching one Shiny Pokemon. Furthermore, Tatsugiri has a special ability, Commander, and acts together with Pokemon Dondozo through his signature move, Order Up.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Where to Find Shiny Tatsugiri?

Shiny Pokemon form is notoriously hard to catch, and Tatsugiri is no different. You can find Shiny Tatsugiri at one location in the game, in and around Casseroya Lake, found in the northwestern part of Paldea.

Unfortunately, your chances of spotting a Shiny Tatsugiri are miserable. However, if you even stumble upon one, its level is 50+, so you better have a bunch of Quick Balls and Net Balls.

You can increase your chances of finding Shiny Tatsugiri in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by utilizing several methods:

  • Prepare the Sparkling Power Shiny Sandwich
  • Use the Shiny Charm item
  • Hunt Shiny Tatsugiri during Mass Outbreaks events.

All Shiny Tatsugiri Forms

As we already said, Tatsugiri in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has three forms, and every form can be Shiny. Tatsugiri doesn’t have any evolution, but it is one of very few Pokemon that come in different forms.

Curly form – this form of Tatsugiri lives inside the mouth of Dondozo as it protects itself from enemies. It is a cunning Pokemon who feigns weakness to lure in prey.

Droopy form – this Tatsugiri form in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet comes in different colors and patterns. It tricks its enemies into thinking that it is dead.

Stretchy form – this Tatsugiri form uses its throat sac to inflate itself to hide from enemies, while Bird-Type Pokemon are its main prey.

Each form has its Shiny option and has different colors. Thanks to Reddit user, RoboAWM, we now know all the distinctions between these forms.

Although tiny, this Pokemon is rather powerful. Instead of sheer strength, it uses its smarts to defeat enemies. It is quite an excellent addition to trainers’ Pokedex.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
