Want to know where to find Surskit in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? As you explore the world of Scarlet and Violet, you will encounter many Gen 9 Pokemon. But to complete the Pokedex, you should not forget about the veteran Pokemon of the legendary series of games, and Surskit is one of them. Small, inconspicuous, and very cute – that’s how you can characterize Surskit. While this is not a Pokemon that will help you in the late game, it will become a loyal companion at the beginning of your adventures. In addition to finding Surskit in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you don’t have to spend a lot of effort, and we will help you with this.

To find Surskit in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you must travel to the southern part of the Paldea region and search in small bodies of water. A small and almost invisible Surskit runs on the surface of small lakes, so you can catch it without even resorting to the swimming skills of your Koraidon and Miraidon. If you are very unlucky, go looking in the rain. Surskit loves running in big puddles, so you’ll have a much better chance of success. However, walk around the following locations, and you will meet several Surskit:

  • East Province (Area Two)
  • South Province (Area One)
  • South Province (Area Five)

Since Surskit is a weak Pokemon, you can catch it without a fight using the Quick Ball. But if he resists, use the right Pokemon to win faster. As a Bug and Water-type Pokemon, Surskit is weak against Electric, Flying, and Rock-type moves and takes 2x damage from these. Although, it is worth noting that the wild Surskit is weak Pokemon, so don’t worry about choosing an opponent for him.

But once you catch Surskit and boost his powers, you’ll have a good ally against Pokemon with Water, Ice, Fighting, Ground, and Steel-type moves. In addition, reaching level 22, it evolves into a more powerful Masquerain. Though even with more powerful allies, you should still hunt Surskit. Winning or capturing this Pokemon will give you Surskit Syrup and be able to craft TM022 (Chilling Water) and TM095 (Leech Life).
