There’s an easter egg in MW3 Zombies that allows you to keep your weapon upgrades and its rarity for the next match. This easter egg is in the MWZ high threat zone location, and you need to pay respects on a grave to achieve it. Now doing this requires you to be as quick as possible to escape the red zone after you’ve done it. And you should note that if you do pay respects easter egg in MW3 Zombies, you’ll lose all your weapon upgrades and rarity for that match.

You can find the Pay Respects easter egg location on the west side of the Urzikestan MWZ map’s red zone. Once there, you’ll find a flag on top of a hill that looks like the remains of a castle. Now if there are no zombies around you, go up, and find a grave with two shotguns on it. If you stand in front of it in this location, you can pay respects and then gain rewards in an Aether rift that opens in MWZ.

This will result in losing all your weapon upgrades, but you’ll receive a part of your rarity and pack a punch level back with Aetherium parts. This means that you can downgrade your weapons and receive the upgrade parts instead so that you can use them in the next game.

Is Pay Respects Easter Eggs Worth It In MW3 Zombies?

Yes, going to the pay respects location to do the easter eggs and get your upgrade parts is worth it. But you should only do it by the end of the game when you want to exfil. You should also note that you may not receive the exact equivalent of your upgrade parts that match your weapon’s stats. For example, if you do the easter egg with a level 3 pack and a punched gun, you’ll receive a Redefined or Raw Aetherium Crystal for a level 2 or 1 upgrade in the next match.

Now the pay respects MWZ easter egg does save you a lot of time by giving back a part of your upgrades for the next match, but going to its location isn’t so easy. You’ll need to have the Stamina-Up perk and leave one of your weapon slots empty so that you can run faster bare-handed. Trust me, the red-zone zombies mean business.
