Anonymous Content was founded in 1999. It is based in Los Angeles, with offices in other parts of the US and London. The company may not be as well known as some of the bigger studios and corporations, but plenty of the business’s past work has found success. CD Projekt has found great success with The Witcher adaptation on Netflix. The game studio will no doubt want Anonymous Content to replicate that success with Cyberpunk. The media company is arguably one of the best in television production, so it was logical for CD Projekt to go to them.

Cyberpunk already had a popular anime series on Netflix named Edgerunners. It’s unknown if the upcoming live-action project will be a movie or series. It is also unknown what platform it will release on. Cyberpunk 2077 is based on the work of Mike Pondsmith, who wrote the Cyberpunk series for tabletop games. With all of Pondsmith’s work at its disposal, Anonymous Content has plenty of material to base its live-action adaptation on.
