Resident Evil 4 Remake has been long awaited, and it’s already March 24 in New Zealand. Xbox players in the region can already play Resident Evil 4 Remake. But if you’re outside the region, there’s no need to worry. If you’ve already bought the game, you can play RE4 with a simple trick.

You Can Now Play Resident Evil 4 Remake on the Xbox

  • Sign in to your Xbox console.
  • Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  • Select Settings  > All Settings  > System > Language & location.
  • Select your new location from the Location list, and then select Restart now.

According to Microsoft, all content doesn’t transfer when changing regions, but players that have pre-ordered the game are playing RE4 Remake right now in New Zealand.

The Resident Evil October Showcase hit it off with a Resident Evil 4 Remake reveal. We were treated to an extended trailer that brought back some welcome features, such as a parrying mechanic, crafting, and those slow but iconic tank controls.

Finally, we got our hands on the RE4 Remake demo, which was pretty amazing. It managed to run incredibly well on hardware, the likes of the Xbox Series S, and optimization is equally amazing on PC.

Leon Kennedy is finally back in action, and we got to see him in a glorious 4K in a Chainsaw Demo. Capcom really nailed the atmosphere with RE4. In our opinion, it’s a big step over the original. The lighting, textures, visuals, and tight corners. It’s all there.

So, are you going to play Resident Evil 4 Remake right now on your Xbox? Or are you going to wait till it actually launches in your region? What are you waiting for? Play it right now! If you have any thoughts, let us know in the comments below. Stay tuned for more updates on the Nerdstash.
