Epic has announced that the next Epic Games Store free game is PC Building Simulator. Starting next Thursday, October 7, and until the following Thursday, October 14, those with Epic Games Store accounts can pick up the game for free.
The irony of a PC building sim won’t be lost on those toiling to secure PC parts, principally graphics cards, due to the ongoing global shortage and a rife reseller and scalping market forcing component prices sky-high, way beyond their MSRP. That aside, PC Building Simulator puts you in charge of a burgeoning PC repair and building outfit, piecing together beefy rigs with components from real-life manufacturers such as AMD, Corsair, and EVGA (for free this time!). Fix customer issues, run benchmarks, and build custom water-cooled powerhouses.
Build your very own PC empire, from simple diagnosis and repairs to bespoke, boutique creations that would be the envy of any enthusiast. With an ever-expanding marketplace full of real-world components you can finally stop dreaming of that ultimate PC and get out there, build it and see how it benchmarks in 3DMark!”
