You will encounter different enemies and bosses exploring the different locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Some can be destroyed simply by shooting from a bow, while others require a special strategy, such as Battle Talus which looks like a monster stronghold.

This boss is similar to Stone Taluses but has a wooden structure on top. Moreover, three Bokoblins live in this monster stronghold. Therefore, you will have to fight in a 1 vs 4 battle. But for defeating this boss, you can get a lot of valuable stones, including Stone Talus Heart.

So, to defeat Battle Talus in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to use a special strategy. But once you get used to it, Battle Talus will no longer pose a threat to you. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Deal with three Bokoblins first. They will annoy you very much if you leave them alive.
  • Then shoot your bow at the black stone on one of the Battle Talus’ shoulders.
  • After that, the boss stuns for a few seconds. At this point, you should get under it and use Ascend to go through the boss and get on top of it.
  • Deal as much damage as possible to the black stone using your best weapon.
  • After a few hits, jump off the Battle Talus as it will drop you anyway.
  • Repeat all these actions until you reduce the health of Battle Talus to zero.
