Picking your sides is important in Baldur’s Gate 3, so breaking goblin Sazza out of her cage or leaving her there is a pretty heavy choice. Goblins are pretty undesirable beings. So far, they just seem to murder everyone and pillage everything that comes their way. Plus, it’s not easy to understand what they’re trying to say most of the time. Sazza, however, wastes no time trying to earn your favor with her charms and offers you the opportunity to meet an A+ goblin healer. Alas, she won’t do that unless you break her out of the cage. What should you do?
What Happens If You Leave Sazza to Rot in the Cage
Choosing to let Sazza stay in the cage is considered a good choice. All goody-goody companions will approve of this choice. Evil characters, however, will disapprove of it. Simply choose the option to walk away, leaving her there to rot for her goblin-scheming crimes.
If you leave Sazza inside the cage instead of breaking Sazza out in Baldur’s Gate 3, nothing will happen. No extra steps must be taken; you won’t be introduced to any magical healer. Just walk out the same way you came, maybe feeling a bit better about your moral compass.
What Happens If You Break Sazza Out of the Cage
By breaking Sazza out in Baldur’s Gate 3, you make the first choice to side with the Goblins. Though you can potentially make this choice and still side with the Druids later, it’ll make the process a bit more complicated.
You’ll have to pick the locks of the cage and stealthily make your way out of the camp. Given everyone’s hatred for the Goblins, being spotted while walking Sazza out of the camp will result in a combat sequence, so be careful.
