The game has many items, such as the Tranquil Heart and Shining Essence Echo. Ionic Crystal is one of the necessary items in the game that can be used to craft a Weapon Mod. However, finding it can be a bit tricky. So, let’s look at how to get and use it.

The location to get Remnant 2 Ionic Crystal is Timeless Horizon above Titan’s Reach. Timeless Horizon is one of the two open-world surface locations that spawn randomly. To reach this location in your game, you can use Adventure Mode to reroll until you find it. Alternatively, you can reroll the campaign until you can visit this place. You will not find any NPCs or bosses in this area. However, there are many resources you can gather, including Ionic Crystal. You will encounter enemies like Battle Drones, N’Erud Zombies, and Specters.

The exact location of the Ionic Crystal is shown on the above map. When you get to the area, you will find a circular elevator. You must go up from the elevator and the staircase to the right. You will find the Crystal on the floor in the middle area of the stairs.

How to Craft Energy Wall Using the Ionic Crystal in Remnant 2

Energy Wall is a weapon mod in the game, and you can add this mode to any weapon with weapon mod slots. Energy Wall allows you to shoot enemies while blocking their attacks with a temporary wall of energy. It lasts 30 seconds once activated and can absorb up to 500 damage, while allies can shoot through the wall. When the weapon level increases, the Energy wall absorbs more damage up to 1000. Therefore, this mod is handy in intense battle situations.

You must use the Ionic Crystal to craft the Energy wall. You can craft it by speaking to McCabe in Ward 13. The below materials are needed to craft this mod.

  • 1 Ionic Crystal
  • 5 Lumenite Crystals
  • 500 Scrap

So, getting Ionic Crystal in Remnant 2 is very important for any player. Because acquiring the Energy Wall is an essential part of the game progression, hopefully, if you explore Timeless Horizon in Remnant 2, you can quickly obtain this material.
