Precision Pass is a new mechanic in FC 24, added to boost your passing game. It will eventually, when you master it, provide a ton of mesmerizing actions that lead to even more beautiful goals. However, these sports games rarely offer a tutorial for moves like this, and that is where we come in. You might spend a bit of time on the pitch practicing Precision Pass, just like every other new mechanic added in the game. However, once you get it, your players will turn into magnificent goal-scoring situation providers. All you need is a bit of management of power and direction to successfully perform a Precision Pass in FC 24.

FC 24 has introduced three types of passes and depending on the platform you play the game, follow these simple steps to perform each of the Precision Pass in FC 24:

  1. Precision Pass (R1 + Triangle / RB + Y):
Works like a through ball with better control.
Can also be used for regular passes to teammates.
  2. Precision Lob (R1 + Square / RB + X):
Similar to Precision Pass but the ball is sent through the air.
Useful for wide passes or accurate crosses.
  3. Swerving Precision Pass (L2 + R1 + Triangle / LT + RB + Y):
Adds curve to the pass, helping it avoid defenders.
Great for creating angles for attackers.

Now that you know the controls, we will guide you through the process of completing a precision pass in FC 24:

  1. Press R1 or RB which will trigger a white indicator.
  2. Move the cursor to where you want the pass to go.
  3. Press the corresponding pass button (Triangle/Y for Precision Pass, Square/X for Precision Lob, Triangle/Y for Swerving Precision Pass).
  4. Hold the button to adjust the pass power and choose if it goes in the air or on the ground.

When To Use Precision Passing in FC 24

Depending on what you want to accomplish, you can use these passes in different situations:

  • Precision Pass: Use it to send players into open spaces, especially through the center of the backline or between centerbacks and fullbacks.
  • Precision Lob: Use it for cross-field passes, going over the defense, or for precise crossing when your team has a counter-attack advantage.
  • Swerving Precision Pass: Perfect for creating curves in your passes from the wing or half spaces, evading defenders, and setting up strikers for goal-scoring opportunities.

One more noteworthy thing, precision passing helps when your player doesn’t have great passing stats, but better attributes make it even more accurate.

This is all you need to know about the new mechanic in FC 24. It will give you a massive advantage over players who do not yet understand how to do Precision Pass in FC 24.
