In the early hours of your journey across Embervale, inventory space is arguably one of your most important resources. After all, when your inventory is full, you won’t be able to craft anything until you’ve either used something and made space or deleted it. As space is so valuable, you may be wondering how to craft a Chest in Enshrouded so that you can free up some room in your inventory. Here’s how.
How to Get a Chest in Enshrouded
In the opening hours, after you’ve crafted your first Workbench and tracked down your first NPC: Oswald Anders the Blacksmith, you’ll be able to start crafting Chests. Specifically, you’ll have two different types of Chest to choose from: a Tiny Chest or a Small Chest. The former is much easier to craft, but doesn’t offer as much storage, whereas the latter is a little trickier to craft as it requires rarer ingredients.
How to Craft a Tiny Chest
The Tiny Chest requires the following:
- Workbench
- 3 x String
- 6 x Twigs
A Workbench can be constructed with 3 units of String and 8 Wood Logs. Meanwhile, String can be crafted in your inventory by using Plant Fiber, and Twigs can be obtained by harvesting shrubs, bushes, and saplings.
The Tiny Chest offers 16 slots for holding your items.
How to Craft a Small Chest
The Small Chest requires the following:
- Workbench
- 6 x Nails
- 6 x Wood Logs
Nails require Metal Scraps and can be crafted by talking to Oswald the Blacksmith. Meanwhile, Wood Logs can be acquired from chopping down trees with an axe.
The Small Chest offers 32 slots for holding your items.
