This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

If you’re running a Hunter build or anything similar that requires you to use a bow in Enshrouded, then there’s a good chance you’ll want to get your hands on some Poison Sacks at some point. They might not be the easiest to get, simply because Poison Sacks must come from an enemy that uses poison attacks, but they’re handy to have around. You can actually use Poison Sacks to craft poison arrows, which can be a game changer when it comes to archery in Enshrouded. While there are additional uses, the ability to craft poison arrows is one of the most interesting and useful. Let’s find out how to easily farm Poison Sacks in Enshrouded.

While it would be quite nice, you can’t simply find Poison Sacks in Enshrouded. They can only be collected from the bodies of enemies. That said, the enemies are typically poisonous, so you’ll want to be sure you have plenty of potions and food on you, as well as decent armor and a good weapon.

You can find enemies that carry Poison Sacks in the central portion of the map, to the North of where you found the Farmer NPC. Though, you should be aware that the enemies in this location are all level 13 and higher, and have a nasty attitude. Typically if they see you, they’ll begin attacking right away.

So far, there are a few enemies I’ve come across that you can farm Poison Sacks from. The easiest ones are probably the orange plant enemies that spawn in the muddy areas in the central portion of the map. They stay closed until you’re within range, then open up into a vibrant orange flower and shoot gooey projectiles at you. Some others that can be easily killed and farmed for Poison Sacks are the large rock-like creatures pictured above. These ones are rather shy, though, so it’s best to attack them at a distance. Whenever the enemies die, you can loot their bodies and find Poison Sacks.

To recap:

  • Poison Sacks are found in the central portion of the map, North of the Farmer’s Vault.
  • Poison Sacks only drop from enemies.
  • Enemies who carry Poison Sacks will be level 13 and higher.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
