Just when you thought the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs couldn’t get any more disturbing, out comes another Jane Doe. This time, the plaintiff is accusing Diddy of sexually assaulting her back when she was just 16 years old and was working as a babysitter in New York.
The report came from Rolling Stone where the unnamed woman filed the lawsuit on Monday, January 13. In her lawsuit, she recalled that she was going home from a babysitting gig with a celebrity. The woman then met Combs around an apartment corner where the former rapper and music mogul was waiting in his SUV with the doors open.
Combs apparently convinced the woman with a ride home in his SUV and offered her a drink. Soon after the drink, the woman alleged that she became groggy and was thereafter sexually assaulted by Combs. After the crime, Combs supposedly left the victim in the lobby of her apartment. The incident reportedly happened back in the year 2000 and the unnamed woman was only a student at The Museum School at the time.
As usual, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyers were quick to rebuke and respond to the allegations, with a blanket statement:
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor.
We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court,” insisted Combs’ legal team.
Meanwhile, the new alleged victim’s lawyer, Michael F. Rubin, didn’t reply to Diddy’s legal team. There’s also no new statement or response from the unnamed and alleged victim after the statement from Diddy’s legal team.
A Long List of Victims
As for the number of people who have pressed charges on Diddy for sexual assault, misconduct, or other criminal cases, it has gone up to a staggering 40+ plaintiffs, with the alleged 16-year-old babysitter being among the latest. A total of 120 people (including those who haven’t pressed charges) have accused Diddy.
Of the 120 alleged victims, 25 of whom were minors at the time of the incident and these allegations cover a period of more than 34 years. Diddy’s lawyers have also released a statement against the 120 alleged victims, saying that Combs cannot address every accusation, especially those that lack merit or clear evidence.
Apparently, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who has pledged representation for the 120 alleged victims was even contacted by 3,280 individuals who were supposedly victimized by Diddy. The lawyer carefully considered these allegations, of course, and decided to represent 120 among them, particularly those who have spoken with the FBI.
