Will Smith is being slammed for his recent public display during a performance with female singer India Martinez. The actor/singer took the stage at the Premio Lo Nuestro award show in Miami last week. He joined Martinez as they performed the song First Love. During their on-stage encounter, things got steamy as they duo got close, touching and even appearing to kiss during the duet. Of course, this sparked some outrage from fans, as the former Fresh Prince star is married to Jada Pinkett Smith for decades.
According to The Daily Mail, photos and video from the performance show Will Smith wearing a black suit, white collared shirt, and a tie. Meanwhile, India Martinez rocked a black sparkle catsuit complete with gloves. The ensemble was see-through in many places. She completed the look with knee-high boots. Her long, dark hair was parted in the middle and styled in sleek, straight strands that flowed down her back.
During the performance, the duo seemed to feed off of each other, and things got spicy. At one point, Martinez embraced Smith, put her hands on his head, and appeared to kiss him on the lips. For his part, Will’s hand looked to rest on the singer’s backside.

In a photo taken backstage at the show, Martinez is seen jumping into Smith’s arms and wrapping her legs around his waist. Her arms are wrapped firmly around his neck as he hugs her midsection with a big smile on his face.
After seeing the performance, many fans were livid about Smith’s behavior. While he and wife, Jadad Pinkett Smith have been known to have an unconventional marriage, many believed that the public display was over the top and “inappropriate.”
“This raunchy performance is a slap in the face to Jada. I don’t care what the state of their marriage is,” one person commented.
“This is what you do when youโve assassinated your own career,” another stated.
“This is one seriously dysfunctional family,” a third person said.
“The family has never done anything appropriately why start now?” a fourth comment read.
In January, sources told People Magazine that Will and Jada are still together. However, they are no longer living under the same roof. The couple have been married since 1997. However, after 20 years of marriage they opted to separate in 2016. They’re still married and have yet to severe ties.
Neither Will Smith nor Jada Pinkett Smith have spoken publicly about the rapper’s performance with India Martinez. However, fans are certainly interested to know if Jada had a reaction to the intimate display.
