The couple was sat front and center at the show. However, Jenner ensured that she took a backseat to her boyfriend as it was his special night.
Glimpses of Kylie Jenner sitting next to Timothee Chalamet throughout the majority of the awards show were seen all night long. However, when it came time to announce the winner for Best Actor, she was nowhere to be seen. Chalamet was nominated for the award due to his role as Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown. He had received critical acclaim for his work in the film. Unfortunately, he didn’t take home the Academy Award for the role. Instead, he was bested by Adrien Brody.
So, where was Jenner when it came time for Chalamet to learn his Oscars fate? According to Page Six, the makeup mogul sweetly offered to switch seats with Timothee’s mother so she could be right there with him during the big moment. If Chalamet had won, it would have been his mother who would be the first to congratulate him as the camera caught his reaction.
Instead, Kylie reportedly moved seats and sat behind Timothee. After it was revealed that he had lost the award, she was seen offering him some support by embracing him and kissing him.

The tight material left little to the imagination as the strapless see-through dress clung to her curves. Chalamet also changed his look, opting for a black suit and white collared shirt.
After Timothee Chalamet’s loss at the Oscars, PR expert Eric Schiffer revealed why it may be good for Kylie Jenner. The expert claims that the loss is sure to be “an ego shot” for Chalamet, who recently revealed that he’s looking to achieve greatness in his acting career. However, Schiffer claims the loss could bring the pair closer, per The U.S. Sun.
“It gives her an opportunity to support him and to be there emotionally at a devastating time for such a sensitive guy,” he added.
